Parkinson's disease(PD) is currently the fastest-growing neurodegenerative disease in the world, characterized by a range of motor and non-motor symptoms, still without a cure. It typically begins between the ages of 55 and 65, affecting about 1-1.5% of the population over 65 worldwide. In Korea, approximately 150 thousand individuals are affected, and globally, the number exceeds 10 million.

Non-pharmacological treatments for PD are as necessary as pharmacological treatments but are currently not sufficiently provided. This is because there are not enough medical institutions that offer proper non-pharmacological treatments, most patients have mobility challenges to visit hospital, and there is the cost issue for in-person treatment.

PINE SPEECH® is a smartphone software medical device that provides personalized treatment by evaluating the speech function of Parkinson's disease patients using a patient-led treatment system.


PINE SPEECH® is intended to be a Class 2 medical device approved by a regulatory body with proven medical effectiveness and safety, and used by patients at home after prescription from a doctor at hospital. The treatment results are provided to the doctor.
